NOTE: On 09 August, 2003, Maryann kindly confirmed for me that the "book only" version of The Valley of the Pharaohs mentioned on Stan Bundy's Palladium Fan FAQ never existed and so I have removed it.
Quoting Maryann directly, "There was never a book only version of Pharaohs. The only version was the nice yellow box on your list. I think what Stan is referring to is the download on the site (maybe?). I'm not sure where he got his info."

The Valley of the Pharaohs Boxed Set Written by Matthew Balent Cover art by Kevin Siembieda (?) Comments Cover scan from my personal collection. Information from Stan Bundy's Palladium Fan FAQ and my personal collection. The box contains a 50-page rulebook, one large loose-leaf color fold-out map of Egypt (circa 1450 B.C.), 12 loose-leaf black and white fold-out maps and illustrations, a loose-leaf black and white character sheet, and a loose-leaf black and white advertisement for other Palladium products. This game uses its own unique rule set which is not compatible with the current Palladium system. You can download the boxed set in electronic format here, though it lacks some of the loose-leaf items. |
