Prequels

Could Cally have met Soolin before she went to Saurian Major? Soolin was a mercenary....

Could one of Dayna's tutors have been a Federation agent who was thenthwarted in his/her plan to capture Hal Mellanby?

A story on Cally's birth and upbringing with her sister Zelda might beinteresting if it was interwoven with the reasons for Auron isolationism, where Auron telepathy came from, and, say, the origin of Earth cloning techniques and the peculiar ritualism surrounding it. (Sarah Berry)

How did Blake become involved with the Freedom Party? Who were his friends?

How did Travis become as he is when we first see him? Was it all due to Blake?

Tarrant's first command was the Kairopan Shuttle. Is that when he met Jarvik? What was their relationship?

What sorts of odd jobs did Soolin have before she worked for Dorian? How did she pay her way as she waited for her chance at revenge? (Pat Jacquerie)

"Space Fall"

The deportation of criminals is the responsibility of the military, and young Captain Tarrant's insurbordinate behavior gives him the command of the London. (Kathy Moran)

Blake succeeds in taking over the London.

Jenna or Avon is killed in trying to take over the London. How would Blake react? What would change when they encounter the Liberator?

"Time Squad"

One of the Guardians survives and possesses Cally after she isteleported up for the first time.

"Duel"

What would happen if Sinofar decides to restore Travis so that he now has ahealthy eye and arm and the mutoids are fully human again? (Kathy Moran)

"Project Avalon"

When did Jenna meet Avalon, and why?

After "Project Avalon," did Avalon stay in touch with the Liberator crew?

The mutoid is a member of Soolin's family.

"Breakdown"

Gan's limiter malfunction affects his brain, making him telepathic or ultraintelligent, or able to kill people by zapping them with his brainwaves. Or all three. It's Super-Gan!

Gan accidentally kills one of the crew when his limiter malfunctions.

Zen links with Gan when the limiter malfunctions, and from then on he is somehow a part of the computer and the Liberator.

The reason Cally is so ditzy during this episode is that she was suffering some bad flashbacks of when she was tied down and interrogated by Travis during Seek-Locate-Destroy. (Kathy Moran)

What happened right after the end of "Breakdown"? Pair Gan with the character of your choice.

"Bounty"

The Amagons succeed in selling Liberator crew to the Feds--how do they escape? What happens to President Sarkoff and Tyce?

Did the crew of Liberator or Scorpio ever return to Lindor, Sarkoff's home planet?

"Pressure Point"

Liberator leaves orbit before Travis manages to fake Kasabi's beacon.

Cally and Jenna leave when the rest are captured in Central Control.

What happened to Veron?

Kasabi survives.

"Weapon"

Our heroes capture Imi-Pac. Would they use it to gain power over Servalan? Would she allow herself to be blackmailed, even for her life?

Carnell joins the crew of the Liberator. How would he get along with Orac?

"Trial"

Instead of leaving the ship, Blake throws himself into research to findCentral Control, and finds it before Travis. If, therefore, Blake did notattack Space Command, would Travis have been executed?

"Voice from the Past"

Ever since "A Voice From The Past," Travis was really an Andromedan scout. Why else would Travis, the raving psychopath who shot the Blake-clone on sight in "Weapon," have refrained from doing the same when he was disguised as Chevron? Why else were the Andromedans expecting Travis-with-an-artificial-arm (the arm has to be real) but didn't know what he looked like, and why Travis was prepared to "betray" the human race (it was no betrayal, as he was alreadyan Andromedan).First Travis gets captured and replaced. Then the Andromedan scout (perhaps with assitants) gets involvedin this political gambit in "A Voice From The Past," not as Servalan'sally, but as his own player. He is out of character because heisn't really Travis and hasn't learned from his mistakes yet. When next we see him, he is shadowing Doccholli, ostensibly toget Blake, but he is really after Star One, for the Andromedans. Any other motivations are merely smokescreens. And perhaps the reason he gets to Star One so soon is that he isusing a fast Andromedan spacecraft. (Kathryn Andersen)

"Star One"

Move Star One, thus forcing the Federation to cooperate with the rebellion.

What happened in the time between the end of "Star One" and the beginning of "Aftermath" during the battle with the Andromedans?

What happened to Blake and Jenna after Star One?

Another ship from the System turns up at Star One.

"Children of Auron"

Servalan gets the plague and dies.

Cally leaves the Liberator to go to Kaarn with the other Aurons. Whatwould the Liberator crew do? What would change after this?

Servalan's children survive--what happens next? Does she become aworking mom? (Sarah Berry)

"Rumours of Death"

What is Servalan had used Anna Grant/Bartholomew against Avon prior to this episode?

"Ultraworld"

Obvious as it is, this one has only been done 3 times that I knowof--Cally's and Avon's mind tubes ARE accidentally switched. What happensnext? How do they get back into their own bodies? DO they get back intotheir own bodies?

What if Tarrant and Dayna were the ones whose minds were drained?

"Moloch"

What if the duplication process DID work, and you could churn out Tarrants? Just one duplicate could make an interesting story.

"Rescue"

Find Cally alive in Series D.

Dorian doesn't absorb everyone but does take over.

How did Soolin meet Dorian? What if he had tried to kill her with the creature already, and she killed him and took over Xenon Base?

"Sand"

How did Dayna react to Tarrant having slept with Servalan, her mortal enemy?

What if Avon had gone down to the surface with Dayna instead of Tarrant, and then was shot and had to return to Scorpio? What if Tarrant, on Scorpio, had been affected by the Sand instead of Vila? (Andrea)

The Sand seemed to need a breeding pair. How would juggling the characters affect this? Would Dayna manage to kill Servalan, or vice versa?

What if Vila had gone down to the surface instead of Tarrant? Or Soolinor Dayna instead of Servalan?

"Orbit"

Try a few alternate endings for this one--it's a perennial favorite.

"Blake"

What happens after the last episode, or post-Gauda Prime?

Who is alive? Who is dead? Who was just stunned?

Where was Servalan?

Was that Blake, or Blake's clone?

Were all the events a dream?

Bring in lots of minor characters from earlier in the series!

Post-Gauda Prime

About Blake's clone.... Both Avon and Vila survive Gauda Prime. Avon is captured, Vila got away. Years pass. Rumours start of a rebel leader called Blake, making great successes in on the frontiers. Vila, on therun, gets picked up by Blake's people. Surprise, surprise, the man Vila meets is Blake! Without the scars, without the bitterness. Avon shot the clone! [So far, this is just an ordinary Avon-shot-the-clone story - on purpose. Let the reader beware]. Vila asks why Blake waited so long to act. [I can't think of a good reason, can you?] Vila suggests they rescue Avon. Blake is reluctant, considering how long Avon has been in theFederation's hands, can he be trusted? After all, Avon shot the clone, maybe he would turn around and shoot Blake. Vila assures them that it was a tragic misunderstanding. They rescue Avon. But the reunion is not happy. Blake is wary of Avon. And Avon starts wondering if this is really Blake afterall. Or is Avon going mad? We can't be sure either way. Either Avon has cracked and Blake is justifiably worried thatAvon will kill him in some mad fit, or Avon is sane and thisBlake is an imposter, afraid that Avon will expose him.Unfortunately the end after this is predictable - Avon will shootBlake either way. I didn't want it to end like that, butunfortunately that is the most probable outcome, given Avon's character. If this Blake is an impostor (either a clone or anAndromedan), there is no way Avon will trust him enough to allowhim to continue the charade, because he doesn't know what "Blake"is doing it for. Why did he wait so long to reveal himself? Why did he lie? When one lies, one is usually up to no good.If it is really Blake and Avon is mad, he's even more likely toshoot him! If he really is Blake and Avon is not mad, then he probably won't shoot him, if he can be convinced it really is Blake. What I wanted to happen is to leave it uncertain whether he wasBlake ot not, and give the impression that Avon didn't give a damnas long as he continued Blake's cause and didn't step out of line, so to speak. But I think that would be too hard to do convincingly, because, as I said, Avon wouldn't trust "Blake". What I would like, though, is if Avon liked a fake Blake (probably the clone) better than the real one, in the end. I don't want it to end as a tragedy, but as I have said above, that is the almost inevitable outcome if we are going to be anything like consistent. (Kathryn Andersen)

Ideas for Anywhere in the Series

What if all the things that in the series happened to Blake, happen to Avon instead? Everything else could be the same--perhaps his memory was wiped and family killed because of the bank fraud. Avon and the Freedom Party were betrayed to Travis by his girlfriend Anna....(Oliver Klosov)

Vila and Jenna are stuck on a planet alone together, and their survival hinges on Vila's ability to juggle. This idea arose from a long-ago visit to an interminable Renaissance Faire....

I often see Travis and Blake as similar but on opposite sides. How about an alternative universe called Travis' 7? (Sarah Berry)

Pick a character, strand and afflict with amnesia. Put into danger.

How about a story set from series 1-3 from Zen's perspective as either anorganic ship or one composed of nanites? (Sarah Berry)

Crossovers

B7 has been crossed over with Classic Trek, Star Trek: the Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, Quantum Leap, Robin of Sherwood, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, the Sandman, Elfquest, Knight Rider, and many other shows. A common basis for crossover stories is one actor appearing in more than oneseries. Glynis Barber, for example, played Soolin in Series D of Blake's7, but also played Lady Harriet Makepeace in the British cop show,"Dempsey and Makepeace." Paul Darrow, who played Avon, appeared in "The Legend of Robin Hood" as the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Quantum Leap

What is Orac always "busy" with? Making Sam Beckett Leap from life tolife? (Kim Ashford)

Sam Beckett leaps into a character at a critical moment.

Avon started to be aggressive against the Federation 4th season becauseSam Beckett had leapt into him. (Kathy Moran)

Star Trek

The "Mirror Mirror" Spock meets the Liberator crew, or Scorpio crew.

Soolin and Tasha Yar of St:tNG are sisters. When Tasha was rescued, she was brainwashed into fanatical loyalty to the Federation which rescued her. (Kathy Moran)

Post Gauda Prime, Q of ST:tNG visits Avon in cell who is awaitingexecution. Q offers him the opportunity to go back in time and change things. Which point in time would he choose? For example, if he went back to make his bank swindle a success, the Andreomedans could have succeededin taking over the galaxy. I also imagine Q saying that he finds Avon much more interesting than that Picard and asking him whether he really was going to "push that pathetic little man out of the airlock." (Kathy Moran)

Babylon 5

B7 cloning gives me a similiar feeling to the planting of telepaths in Babylon 5.... (Sarah Berry)

Battlestar Galactica

Out near Star One, the Liberator encounters the Battlestar Galactica.

Star Wars

The crew of Scorpio hires Han Solo to obtain a rare cargo for them.

The Empire, having developed a way of traveling beyond their own galaxy, tempts President Servalan into joining them, but then treats the Federationas subjects/slaves--this would drive Servalan to rebellion, and to seek out the most successful rebels she knows of.

Adult

What was Avon's relationship with Anna like? Did she truly love him, orwas she simply doing her job? What would happen if he did not kill her in "Rumours of Death"?

Did Jenna ever seduce Blake? Or vice versa?

Could Vila and Jenna have had a relationship prior to the series?

That night on Sarran during "Aftermath," Dayna slips into Avon's room formore exploration. Finding her father dead, she blames herself for enjoyingherself while he lay dying nearby. (Twisted Sister)

Blake really did molest those boys--and now one of them is out for revenge. (Susan Cutter)

Dorian wasn't killed, and has less than honorable intentions for Avon.

Avon originally met Anna because she was the sister of his lover, DelGrant. After the events of "Countdown," the two men are reconciled, andtogether try to deal with their grief at Anna's death. Follow with a post-"Rumours of Death" section--did Avon ever see Del again? (OliverKlosov)

What if Raiker had been gay? Who would he have selected, and what would that man have done? (Susan Cutter)

Either ... or both

In "Shadow," what if the little moondiscs are not the source of Shadow, but instead are small sentient sexual devices, which is why Cally keeps one? (Ravenschild)

Dorian refers to the 4th series crew as a "gestalt," "bound together by time and pain and the need to survive." What if there is more to the bond?

The male characters are often put in the situation of being held prisonerin a brothel/sold as a sex slave, then rescued by a crewmate. What if it were Servalan? Who would encounter her in her captivity? (Vanessa Mullen)

Blake, Jenna, and Avon were alone on the Liberator for approximately 3months before they reached Cygnus Alpha. What did they do with their sparetime? (Alicia Ann Fox)

The crew visit a brothel which turns out to be inhabited by vampires.(Eclecticon panel)
