1,000 years ago, on the Moon there was a kingdom called, The Moon Kingdom. It was a place of peace, it was the most prosperious kingdom in the Universe, and Queen Serenity, who was ruler, also ruled the Universe. She had a daughter Princess Serena, who was being trained to follow in her footsteps.

Their only threat was The Negaverse. The Negaverse was a mirrior universe, who wanted to rule Queen Serenity's Universe, OUR Universe.The Negaverse was ruled by Queen Beryl, an evil and powerful woman who would stop at nothing to get what she wanted.They also wanted to obtain the Silver Crystal, the most powerful force in all the Universe, which was in the safe keeping of Queen Serenity and would one day be the Princess's.

During a Lunar Eclispe Queen Beryl seized her chance and attacked The Moon Kingdom with a vengence. It was a long and hard fight, but the Moon Kingdom fell to the power of the Negaforce army.

Seeing that Princess Serena, her fiance Prince Darien, and the four Sailor Warriors where taken by the Negaverse, Queen Serenity, did the only thing she could do. She used the power of the Silver Crystal to entrap the Negaverse and all those trapped within it, in the Silver Crystal. Since she could not destory the Negaverse without destorying her own daughter, she used the last of her power to send them all into the future, 1000 years later to be reincaranated. She also sent Luna and Artemis as gurdian's and so that if the Negaverse should ever threaten the Universe again they could locate the Sailor Scouts. Her only hope was that they could all live the life that they were meant to lead. And for that, she sacarficed her life and her kingdom.
