Me: April 18, 2003 Well, that may have given you a rough idea, but I’ll fill in some details for you if you’re still interested in reading it.

Why two names? Well, Michelle is the name that was bestowed upon me by my parents, while Faelenx is a name that I consider equally as accurate and important as my birth name for reasons some may or may not want/need to know, and RedDrgn is commonly used as my screen name.

My hometown is the little known borough of Northumberland, Pennsylvania though my husband and I currently reside in Leesburg, Virginia. We moved after I accepted a job in Chantilly, Virginia as an environmental scientist with ECC, Inc. So far I don’t regret it and am quite enjoying the new people and surroundings; my husband even took a job at the same company a month after our move. Though I am very close to Washington D.C. and in more of a suburban area than the rural area I am from, I am only a few minutes drive from fields and forests and all of that good, unpopulated stuff. ;)

Two kittens (Eclipse and Tempest), one candy cane corn snake (Ophion), and a ten gallon tank of freshwater fish constitute our family. One of these days I am going to build a section of this site devoted to our pets, fully loaded with photographs, woooo! Unfortunately, I have no Internet access in the apartment yet, as we cannot afford it. We don’t even have a phone line. 80

And as you may have already figured out, I’m married! I’ve been with my love for over seven years now, we were engaged on October 11, 2003, and married on October 8, 2005. To make a long and complex story short, we actually first met in a long-gone Internet chat room called JavaChat, which used to be hosted on Excite. We chatted there and with other chat programs for six months before actually meeting face to face when he came and stayed with my family and I for a few days. What can I say? We hit it off! My love and my soulmate: we couldn’t be happier than when we’re together.

So now that I’ve bored you long enough, I’ll leave you with some parting photographs of the red dragon that adorns the outside of my left calf. I got this tattoo in May of 2003 and though so many told me that I’d regret it, I don’t. :) Why a dragon? Well, I really love dragons! This design is a representation of my spirit and motivation in my life. It’s not an evil or angry dragon, just one that is determined to achieve goals and stubborn enough never to give up……just like me. ;)
