Gundams!
Day One

Disclaimer: We don't own anything that doesn't belong to us. Gundam Wing, for example. We don't own that. Tenchi and Sasami, we don't own them either. We do, however, own the signifigant others in this story.

Amanda looked up at the sky from where she was, sitting on a bench, and saw a plane flying through the sky.  She watched as the waves of air formed around it, and her eyes widened as it got closer.  It was way closer than normal planes are.  Amanda felt as if she could reach out and touch it.  She turned to Candice, who was sitting next to her.  "Is there an airport near here, Candice?"
Candice blinked.  "Duh. There's an airport right over there."  She pointed to the left, where the plane had just went over a clump of trees.  "It's right beyond that tiny, little forest over there."  She smiled.  "Wanna go see?"
"Yeah!"  Amanda jumped up and ran toward where the plane was now just about landing.  She had just reached the trees, and turned to see Candice struggling to keep up with her.  "Come on!  Where do we go in?"
"This way..."  Candice walked through the trees, and made her way toward the airport entrance. Amanda followed her, and they went to a large window near the back of the building.
Amanda peered through the glass at the now landed plane.  The door had just opened, and several security guards filed out.  Behind them five boys descended the stairway, coming down from the plane.  The last one caught her eye.  He looked about fifteen, and had blonde hair.  He also had deep blue eyes that looked sort of relieved.  Amanda smiled to herself.  He's afraid of planes... just like me.  She flipped her hair over her shoulder, and looked at the other four.  The one in front had slightly messy brown hair, and Prussian blue eyes.  He also looked fifteen.  The guy following him had a long braid of chestnut brown hair, and... violet eyes.  The third person had brown hair that stuck out in front of his face rather oddly.  His eyes were emerald green, well... the eye that she could see anyway.  The fourth person looked Chinese, and had black hair which was pulled back in a small pony-tail.  His eyes were black.
"Wow..."  Candice turned to look at Amanda, who's attention she had just gained.  "They're kind of cute.  Don't you think?"  She looked back through the window.  "I like the one with the purple eyes.  They're so perplexing."
Amanda glanced at her in disbelief.  "Are you kidding?  That braid is hideous."  She looked at him more closely.  "But he does pull it off, ya know?"
        Candice smiled.  "Yeah."
"Well... Let's go meet 'em then!"  Amanda turned and ran down the hallway.  Candice hurried after her.
"No way, Amanda!  They've got security!  Hey, wait!"  Candice gasped in surprise as Amanda ducked into a nearby crevace, pulling Candice in after her.  "What are you thinking?"
"Don't worry.  I can get past those goons!  Now hush.  They should be passing by here soon."  She crouched and watched silently for a few minutes.  Suddenly, she heard foot steps coming down the hall.  "Hey, Candice.  Why do they have security anyway?"
"Hmm... Maybe they're rock stars!  Nah... They don't look like it.  Hey, they do look like those Gundam pilots I heard of!"  She leaned forward a little to watch them come closer.
"Yeah, you're right!  Ok... They've got security in the front, but not in back.  So, all we have to do is wait for them to pass, and then get to them from behind."  Amanda tensed as they came closer.  "I hope they don't see us over here."
"Amanda, are you sure this is okay to do?  I feel kinda weird about it."  Candice pulled her back, since she kept annoyingly moving forward.
"Of course.  Here they come, so hide."  Amanda crouched with Candice farther into the crevice, hoping it would work.  The security guards seemed to be more relaxed than normal security guards should be, but Amanda took this as a good thing. They walked by, not noticing her and Candice at all.  About twenty feet behind them, the Gundam pilots walked.  Amanda turned to Candice.  "Ready?"
"Yeah."  The pilots walked by, and Candice and Amanda came out of the crevice to follow them.  "Hi!"  Candice froze as the one she liked turned around in response to her outburst. She suddenly felt an odd sense of extreme fear.  "Uh..."  She looked at Amanda.
"Welcome to Niagara Falls!"  Amanda reached out and shook braid boy's hand.  The other four had took notice by now, and were coming back.  "So, what brings you here?"  Amanda smiled her sweetest smile, as sweet as she could without looking ditzy.  It was her trick, and it had worked.  They all smiled back.  Candice was staring at her, looking sort of stunned.
The purple-eyed boy stopped shaking her hand.  "Hi, my name is Duo, and this is..."  He pointed his finger from boy to boy.  "Trowa, Wufei, Heero, and Quatre.  Nice to meet you!"
Candice sighed.  At least they're friendly.  Well... one of them anyway.  "You're probably here to see the falls, right?"
Wufei stepped forward.  "That's right.  We've been really busy lately, so we've decided to take a small vacation near Niagara Falls.  It's supposedly really amazing."
Amanda sweatdropped, thinking of the dingy, extremely polluted, oversized drop in a river that Wufei was calling amazing.  "Uh... yeah, but don't get your hopes up."  They all looked at her, completely confused.  "Well, I mean, it's nice, but not amazing."
"Oh really."  Heero crossed his arms.  "So, we came all this way for nothing."
Candice noticed the drop in mood.  "No!  There's plenty of other... fun things to do in Western New York.  Like..."  She looked at Amanda for help.
"Uh..."  Amanda looked at the ceiling and scratched her head.  "Well, you'll find out.  Yeah, it's a surprise."  She smiled triumphantly, and Candice once again sighed.  Amanda turned toward her.  "What?"
"Nothing..."  Candice giggled, and then began to laugh uncontrollably.  She suddenly realized everyone was staring at her, and quickly stopped herself with a cough.
Quatre looked worried.  "Uh... We'd better get going now.  It's been nice meeting you guys."  The five pilots waved as they walked away.
Amanda glared at Candice.  "Great going, Candice!  You scared them away!"  She shrugged.  "Oh well.  Let's get going, shall we?"  She and Candice walked down the hallway, and out of the airport.  When they went outside, they saw Tracy and Erica standing nearby.
Erica waved.  "Hey, you guys, over here!"  She smiled as they approached.  "We came by to pick you up."
Candice looked confused.  "How did you know we were here?"
Tracy looked toward the park.  "We asked around.  Now come on."
Amanda started walking to Tracy's car, but stopped when she heard someone sobbing.  She turned and saw Quatre sitting near the other four pilots.  He looked absolutely miserable.  "Tracy, wait!  Come meet my new friends!"  The four girls walked over to the boys.  Amanda sat next to Quatre, who appeared to have just finished crying.  "Hey, Quatre, what's wrong?"
He looked up, wiping his face with his hand.  "Well, we were supposed to have a car waiting for us, but no one's here.  So, now we're stuck in a strange place with nowhere to go, and no place to stay..."  He started to sob again.
Amanda thought for a second, and then brightened.  "Hey, Quatre, you guys can come stay with us until you figure out where you are supposed to go.  We have an extra apartment in the back, and our parents are gone, so I'm sure it would be alright."
Heero walked over, having overheard their conversation.  "We couldn't accept that kind of hospitality from you, but thanks anyway."
Tracy finally spoke.  "It's okay, really.  No problem at all."  She smirked.  "Besides, from what I see, you've got no other choice."
Quatre stood.  "Thanks so much.  I don't know what we'd do without you!"  He paused as Heero glared at him.  "Please, Heero!"
        "Hn, I guess."
"Okay, so let's get going.  I'm sure you all can fit in my SUV."  Tracy walked back toward her car, opening the side door.  They all followed her.  Quatre, Trowa, and Amanda sat in the back.  Heero, Duo, Candice, and Erica piled into the middle, and Wufei sat up front with Tracy.  They drove for about ten minutes, and then arrived at Amanda and Tracy's house.  Everyone got out of the SUV, and Amanda led the boys to the back apartment.
Amanda opened the door of a small, two-story building in the backyard.  All the pilots followed her in, dragging their stuff behind.  Amanda hurried up the stairs and peered in the door to make sure Tred wasn't there.  "Yes!  He's gone.  Okay, you guys, you can come on in.  Make yourself at home."  Amanda stepped into the room and held the door open for them.
Quatre was the first one in.  "Wow, this is nice."  He set his stuff by the left wall.  "Where are we going to sleep?"
"We have like a billion sleeping bags in the house.  What color do you want, Quatre?  We have purple, red, yellow, and blue."
"Um... How about purple?  It sounds comfier."
"Okay, I'll be right back."  Amanda walked out the door just as Wufei came in.
"Where's she going?"  Wufei sat on a nearby chair.
"To get us sleeping bags."  Quatre walked over to a small table which had a coffee maker on it.  "Cool, I wonder if they have any tea."
Duo entered the room.  "Hey, this is awesome!"  He plopped down on the bed.
"It almost looks as if someone has already been living here."  They all exchanged worried glances at Trowa's comment, and then looked up as Heero followed him into the room.  He sat down on a chair that was near Wufei's.
Just then Amanda came back.  "Okay, this purple one is for Quatre, and you guys can pick from these other ones."  Wufei picked the red one, Trowa picked the yellow one, and the rest were stuck with blue.  "Take some time and get settled.  You can come hang out at the house whenever you feel like it, we're always open.  Well, I'll see you later."  Amanda left the room.  As she was leaving the building, she ran smack into... "Tred!"  Amanda ran for cover but Tred caught her.
"What were you doing in my apartment?"  Tred looked serious, but not mad.  So, Amanda relaxed a little, even though she knew that attitude was going to change very quickly.
"Uh, I just wanted to see where you were... really."  Amanda used the smile, unfortunately it doesn't work on Tred, since he can sense all her feelings.
"I don't think I quite believe you, Amanda."
"Here, why don’t you come to the house.  I mean, who wants to hang around in the apartment all day?"  She started to pull him toward the house, but he was too strong.  He started walking toward his apartment.
Just then, Quatre came out.  "Hey, Amanda, we..."  Quatre froze when he saw Tred's look of pure anger.  "Uh... hi."
Tred turned to Amanda.  "Who the hell is that?!"  He shook her a little.  "What have you gone and done this time?"  He turned and stalked up to his apartment.  Quatre and Amanda cringed, waiting for his reaction.  Tred opened the door.  "AAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"
Quatre walked over to Amanda, who was shaking and rather close to fainting by now.  "Are you okay?"
"N...n...no."  Amanda clung to Quatre for support.  By now she was hyperventilating, so Quatre decided to take her into the house, as far away from Tred as they could get.

* * * * *

Meanwhile, Tracy was making dinner and she heard Tred shout.  She ran out the back door and bumped into Wufei.  "Oh... sorry."  Tracy ran past him, and Wufei watched as she rushed to see what the problem was.  Tracy reached Tred's apartment and looked inside to find Tred glaring at Heero, Duo, and Trowa.  Wufei and Quatre had escaped.  "Tred!!!  What the hell are you doing!  These are our guests, so leave them alone!"
"But...but...but, they're in MY apartment and they smell weird, and they have creepy hair!" Tred exclaimed, pointing at Trowa.
"Tred, that was extremely rude and you are grounded!"  Tracy blinked.  "Well, maybe you could just go away for a second..."
Tred stalked out of the room, mumbling curses under his breath.  He took one last moment to glare at everyone, and then left.

Later in the day, Wufei was exploring the house.  He went upstairs and opened the door at the end of the hallway.  When he did so, he saw Tracy sitting in a corner reading.  This startled him, and he became quickly embarrassed.  "Uh... sorry.  I'll be going now."  He turned to leave.
"No wait!  You can stay if you want."  Tracy watched as Wufei timidly walked back in.  "Could you close the door please?"
Wufei closed the door, and scanned the room.  "Nice place."
"Thanks.  Hey, do you like to read?"
        "Yeah, kinda..."
"Well, why don't you pick one of those?"  Tracy motioned to a huge bookshelf that was stuffed full of books.
Wufei walked over to it and picked out one called American Justice.  "Hmm, this looks good."  He looked around for a place to sit.
"Here, you can come sit by me."  Tracy giggled when Wufei turned red, but he finally did sit next to her.  "Having fun so far?"
"Well, except for that Tred person, you guys are all being really kind.  That’s something you don't really see where the others and I are from."  Wufei opened his book.
"And where is that?  Tracy inquired, leaning over to see what he was reading.  "American Justice... Never did get around to reading that."
"Where I'm from isn't important."  Wufei noticed her staring at the book.  "You can... read it with me, you know."  He looked at Tracy.
Tracy considered the notion.  "Cool, but I'm warning you, I'm a pretty fast reader."  She snuggled up against Wufei and turned to the first page.

After facing Tracy in his apartment, Tred had teleported to Japan.  He wanted to stay with Mina until he was cooled off.  Presently, he was standing at her doorstep, and no-one seemed to be home.  "Damn.  Just my luck."  Tred heard footsteps behind him, and turned to see Mina and Rowen approaching him.
"Tred, hi!"  Mina shoved the groceries she was holding at Rowen, who stumbled from the weight.  "Why are you here?"  Mina gave Tred a hug.
"Uh... I'm having some problems back in America, and I thought I could stay with you for a little while.  Is that okay?"  Tred gave her the most hopeful look he could muster.
"Sure, stay as long as you like!  Rowen was helping me with some grocery shopping, so sorry to keep you waiting."  Mina dug into her pocket, and pulled out her house keys.  Then, she opened the door.  "Come on in.  You too, Rowen!"
Rowen ran to the kitchen and put down the groceries with a sigh.  "Welcome back, Tred.  So, what's these problems at home.  Everything's okay there, right?"
"It's okay with everyone but me."  Tred suddenly looked less peaceful than he had just a few moments ago.  "Amanda let some strange people use my apartment, and she didn't even bother to tell me!  They were destroying the place!  All my stuff was out of place, probably stolen, and they were lounging about like they owned the place!"
Mina scratched her chin in thought.  "Maybe they thought it was just a place Amanda said they could stay in.  They probably weren't even informed that you lived there.  I'm sure Amanda meant to tell you when you got home."
Rowen nodded in agreement.  "Let me guess.  You came home, found out they were in your apartment, and blew up in Amanda's face without even giving her a chance to explain herself."
Tred blinked at him.  "Wow... You're pretty good.  Um, I guess I screwed up real bad, huh?"  He sighed as Rowen and Mina shook their heads in unison.  "Well, I guess I should go back and straighten things out."
Mina smiled.  "Let me come with you, Tred.  I can be your support, since they probably won't want to listen to you."
Tred created a portal, and he and Mina went back to New York.

Heero, Erica, and Trowa were in the living room playing video games.  Of course, Heero was winning since he is the perfect soldier... and the game they were playing was imported from Japan.
"Damnit, Heero!  How do you chop so fast!"  Erica tapped furiously on her controller, as she burned yet another soup, and all her customers left.  She threw down the controller.  "Here, Trowa, you play."
"Thanks."  Trowa grabbed the controller, and began to get really into the game.  He almost beat Heero, which only served to make the Japanese boy even more determined.  The competition was heating up as they started a new game, and they were just about tied when... the doorbell rang.  Heero lost his concentration, and lost the game.
"Nani?!?!"  Heero slammed down the controller.
Erica giggled.  "Now you know how I feel."
Trowa smiled, and went to answer the door.  When he opened it, he saw a teenage boy with black hair much like Wufei's, and a little girl with blue hair.
The girl grinned.  "Hi!  I'm Sasami, and this is Tenchi!"  Tenchi waved.  "We're selling cookies for girl scouts!  Would you please buy some?"
Tenchi sweatdropped.  "Actually, I'm not in girl scouts.  I'm helping Sasami to sell more than the other girls.  The cookies are a dollar a box.  We have mint, peanut-butter, lemon, double-mint fudge, caramel, and butterscotch."
Trowa examined a box.  "I think I'll take the caramel cookies.  Hey, Heero and Erica, what do you want?!"
        "I'll have butterscotch!" said Heero.
"Peanut-butter!"  Erica came to the door.  "Oh my God!  It's Tenchi Masaki!"  Frightened, Tenchi threw the cookies at Trowa, took Sasami's hand, and ran.
Trowa called after Tenchi, "Wait!  You forgot the money!"
Tenchi stopped, and turned.  "They're on the house!"  He then continued to run.
"Oh well."  Trowa turned to re-enter the house, but stopped.  He thought he had seen someone watching him from the corner of the wrap-around porch, but he just dismissed it as a shadow.  He went into the living room, and distributed the cookies to their respective owners.
Erica took the cooking game out of the PlayStation, and grabbed another one.  "Hey, Heero.  You're pretty good at that game, but I bet you can't beat me at this one."  She held up X-Men: Children of the Atom.
"No way.  I beat you in 'I'm the Chef', and I'll beat you in this game as well."  Heero took the game and put it in the PlayStation.  He sat down next to Erica, and they began to play.
"I'm gonna go check on Duo, okay guys?"  Trowa saw no response, so he proceeded to leave.  Duo and Candice were in the apartment fixing things up.  Trowa opened the back door, and started toward the garage.  Something moved to his right.  He turned with lightning speed, but no-one was there.  "Strange, I could have sworn..."
"Hey, Trowa!"  Trowa looked up to see Duo calling to him from the window.  "Whatcha doin'?"
Trowa decided it would be best to actually reach Duo before talking to him, since his voice wasn't loud enough to reach Duo at the moment.  When he got to the apartment, Candice threw some bags at him.  "Lay those out over there, and I'll clean this up.  We'll have this place so clean that Tred will be over his little mood swing before you know it."  She proceeded to sweep up a vase that Wufei had broken earlier.
"Hi guys!"  Tred walked in, followed by Mina.  "Anybody seen Amanda?"  He looked around at what they were doing.  "Hey, thanks for cleaning this up."
"Your welcome, and I'm pretty sure Amanda is in the computer room."  Candice continued to sweep.
"Thanks, bye."  Tred and the other two walked through the yard, into the house, and to the computer room.  Mina opened the door, and quickly closed it.
"Maybe we should leave them alone...”  Tred felt like dealing with this now, so he pushed the door open.  Amanda was huddled under the desk, and Quatre was trying as hard as he could to get her to come out.  Mina came in and moved him to the side.  She whispered to Amanda for a few moments, and aparently she had convinced her.
"Hi, Tred."  Amanda glared at him.
"Amanda, I'm sorry I blew up before.  I was just having a bad day.  Will you please forgive me?"  Tred looked incredibly pitiful.
"Well..."  Amanda paused to think.  "I suppose so... but you have to buy us all sundaes!"
"Umm... okay.  I'll do just that."
"Cool, then I forgive you."  Amanda noticed Mina as she left the room.  "Hey.  I see you brought your girlfriend, Tred."  She smirked as both Tred and Mina turned bright red.
Quatre followed Amanda, leaving the two alone.  Mina turned to Tred.  "Is what they said... true?  Do you really like me?"  She looked up at Tred, and gave him a look of hopefulness.
"Well...uh... D...Do you like me?"  Tred glanced at Mina timidly.
        "Yes."
"Really?!"  Tred was overjoyed, and he hugged her tightly.  "I don't believe it.  I thought you would never be interested in a frisbee."
"But you're not a frisbee anymore..."  Mina moved her hands so they were around Tred's neck.  "You are an incredibly cute and kind man."  She kissed him gently.
Tred was stunned, but got over it quickly.  He kissed her back, not noticing someone close the door.
Outside, Amanda and Quatre were laughing hysterically.  "Good job, Amanda, you’re quite the match-maker."  Quatre sat down on the couch.
Amanda grinned.  “Exactly.  All he needed was a break from being Mr. 'I like no-one so leave me alone.'"
        "Exactly."
"What's creepy is that he can probably sense every little thought Mina's thinking, and vice versa.  They're perfect for each other."
"So I see."  Quatre scooted over next to Amanda.  "So what are we gonna do now?"
"We could watch the Real World marathon.  Sound good?"  Amanda picked up the remote.
Quatre coughed.  "I've actually never seen that show before."
"You're kidding!"  Amanda rubbed Quatre's head, messing up his hair.  "Well, here's your chance."  She changed the channel to MTV, and relaxed.  Then they both sat back and watched some TV.
* * * * *

It was getting late, and Wufei realized he was getting dizzy from reading so much.  He closed the book, and let it fall lightly to the floor.  He soon realized he was stuck, because Tracy was leaning against him.  "Hey, Tracy?"  He looked down to discover that she was fast asleep, so he wouldn't be going anywhere fast.  He glanced over at the clock, and realized it was 12:00a.m.  "Well, I guess it's time to go to bed anyway."  He again tried to get up, but to no avail.  He would be really embarrassed if anyone found him asleep up here with Tracy, but he had no other choice.  Wufei sighed, and managed to dislodge his arm.  He than put it around Tracy and fell fast asleep to the soft sound of her breathing.
* * * * *

Around two in the morning, Heero and Erica were still playing X-men.  Erica had beaten him every single time they played, and Heero was getting very tired and pissy.  "Damnit, Erica!  I just can't get it right!  We've been playing for about five hours now and I still can't control my character."
"Here, let me help you."  Erica reached around Heero, and put her hands on top of his.  She rested her head on his right shoulder, and guided him through the game battle.  "Now press it like this to jump and evade that blast.  Your meter is full, so now you can use your super move!  Press these buttons, and then..."
Heero had stopped paying attention.  He felt strange being near to Erica, and shot a sideways glance at her.  He couldn't thinking about how beautiful he thought she was, and how lightly she guided his fingers as she leaned against him so close.  He leaned closer and kissed her lightly on the cheek.
Erica froze in shock, dropping the controller.  She turned her head to look into Heero's prussian blue eyes.  They no longer looked as cold and feelingless as before, but loving and bewildered.  She put a hand on his shoulder and kissed him back, but on the lips.  He complied by deepening the kiss, and pulled her to the ground as the game music still played.
* * * * *

Trowa, Candice, and Duo had been cleaning for hours, but the apartment looked spotless, and they were all completely tired.  They put out three sleeping bags, and plopped on them.  Candice took out her ponytail, and Duo let down his braid.  Candice looked on in wonder as he brushed it carefully over and over.  "Duo?"
        "Yeah?"
"How can you stand having your hair that long?  It must take forever to take care of."
"Well, I shampoo it three times, with three different shampoos.  They have to at least be different kinds of the same shampoo, or my hair won't end up as silky.  After that, I use a handful of conditioner on the top, middle, and end of my hair, so it's easier to brush out.  I brush it carefully for about ten minutes, and then I dry it.  I have to dry it in layers, or it will never fully dry.  When it's dry, I comb it into three perfectly equal parts, and braid it really carefully.  So really, it's doesn't take that much time to care for at all."  Duo grinned at her look of admiration.
Candice blinked.  "Wow... that's amazing."  She looked behind her, and noticed that Trowa was already fast asleep.  "Well, I guess we better hit the sack."
"Yeah, goodnight."  Duo turned off the light, and they went to sleep.
* * * * *

In the TV room, Amanda and Quatre were still watching the Real World.  Quatre looked like he would be leaving any second, and Amanda was almost as tired.
Amanda slowly turned to look at her cat, Hunter.  "I think that she should so totally go out with Matt, don't you?"
It just stared, as if to say, "Yeah, and Jamie should date that girl with the short, black hair."
"I totally agree.  What do you think, Quatre?"
Quatre winced.  "No more... Real World...must...sleep..."  He then slumped on the couch and sighed.
"I'm kinda tired, too.  Are you Hunter?"
In response, Hunter curled up on her lap.
"Me too."  Amanda put her head on Quatre’s chest, and was soon fast asleep.  Quatre smiled, and then he too drifted off.
* * * * *

Trowa tossed and turned.  He mumbled something and soon began to have a nightmare.........
"Where am I?"  Trowa looked around him, and saw nothing but red and orange sand.  Well, there were also some really black and creepy rocks sticking out from the sand behind him. They were nearly thirty feet tall, and cast eery shadows on him.  A shadow moved about them.  "Hello?"  Trowa thought this to be the person that he had seen earlier.  "Is anybody there?!"  Trowa was beginning to sweat, and his eyes darted about to try and see this mystery person.
"Hello, Trowa...  So nice to finally meet you."
"Who are you?!"  Trowa looked around him.  The voice seemed to be coming from everywhere and nowhere.  "Where are you?!!!"
"I'm right here."  Trowa whipped around to see a tall, cloaked women looking at him through dark brown eyes.  "I've been watching you, Trowa.  You're quite an impressive person."
"What do you want from me, lady?"  Trowa stared at her.  'She's so beautiful.  But is she only a dream?  Am I hallucinating?'
"You are mistaken, Trowa.  For I am quite real."  She approached him carefully.
        “What is your name?”
“My name... Just call me Ebiru.”  She suddenly vanished in a flash of light.
“No, wait!”  Trowa stood there alone, basking in the glow of her sudden departure.
