This site has been added to the D6 System Web Ring as well as RPG Gateway. I'd love it if visitors would rate the site using the voting box on the front page.

10 October, 2006

I finally got around to correcting a couple formatting errors that prevented the site's custom link colors from being displayed and caused some spacing issues in some browsers (notably Firefox). They were small errors, but I'd not corrected them because the website's host only lets me upload ten files at a time, each needing to be selected individually. Since this site has around 170 unique sub-pages, that meant alot of effort on my part. But I've finally done it :). Along with that cosmetic change, I've modified the site's logo, though unless you looked at it all the time before the change, you'll likely not even notice.

Beyond that, I've added a cover scan for 40123 Shadows of the Empire Sourcebook as well as some information about the differences between it and 40122 Shadows of the Empire Sourcebook. A special thanks goes out to Avurax for the information and cover scan. Sorry I didn't get the information put up sooner.

Finally, I've finally updated my collection with the books I've purchased in the last several months (The Far Orbit Project, Hideouts & Strongholds, Classic Adventures, Volume Three, Shadows of the Empire Planets Guide, Secrets of the Sisar Run, and Gundark's Fantastic Technology: Personal Gear).

I'd love to be able to tell you that I plan to update the site more often, but who knows, right? I'll update it occasionally, though, in any circumstance.

09 September, 2005

Has it really been that long since my last update? Wow...

I finally got a new scanner a couple weeks ago and so was able to produce a good quality cover scan of Mission to Lianna (it's far better than the old eBay auction photograph I was using on the site).

Hopefully it won't be another six months before I update again :).

08 January, 2005

I've harvested a few replacement cover scans off of eBay. Some of them are still not fabulous, but these are all better than those they're replacing:

40021 Riders of the Maelstrom
40049 Planet of the Mists
40138 Classic Adventures, Volume Four: The Best of the Adventure Journal
40203 Assault on Hoth

I'm going to drop a note over on the HoloNet Forums regarding the new activity on this site, so if you're a first time (or returning) visitor, welcome!

01 January, 2005

This is the first update to this site in a little over five months. My interest in the Star Wars games has just recently re-awakened. Unfortunately, my scanner has given up the ghost, so I am unable to create further cover scans until I replace it. It's a real shame, actually. I just bought a copy of Mission to Lianna, a book that is in desperate need of a cover scan update.

One other bit of bad news, I'm afraid... Seems I don't have an internet connection at the moment, so this update likely won't get uploaded until about the seventh of January. No one will even know about it until it's been uploaded, however, so I'm not overly concerned.

Here are the actual changes to the site that come as part of today's update:

- Identified and credited the cover artist for 40036 The Isis Coordinates (Paul Jaquays)
- Created a profile page for Paul Jaquays
- Updated the cover scan for 40602 Introductory Adventure Game

Additionally, I added two books to the listing of my collection (The Isis Coordinates and Mission to Lianna).

Hopefully this will be the first of many updates to come to this site this year.

21 June, 2004

Updated the cover scans for the following books:

40020 Scavenger Hunt
40022 Crisis on Cloud City
40028 Otherspace II: Invasion
40036 The Isis Coordinates
40056 Heir the the Empire Sourcebook (hardcover)
40058 Dark Force Rising Sourcebook (hardcover)
40059 The Last Command Sourcebook (hardcover)

A big thanks goes out to thedarkelf007 (Martin Hamilton) for providing these scans.

14 May, 2004

I just received a cover scan for the second edition version of Galaxy Guide 3: The Empire Strikes Back, so it has been posted. The submitter, Shaun in South Carolina, also happens to be the same person that submitted the cover scan for The Abduction, and since I know know exactly who to credit now, it's entry has been updated, too.

Also, I'd like to apologize for the frequent downtime this site has been experiencing lately. Unfortunately, it's not under my control. The host (a free one) has been performing poorly lately. Hopefully the problems will clear up soon.

13 May, 2004

Moridin of SWRPGNetwork forwarded to me an email sent to him with a cover scan for The Abduction (formerly listed as "The Abduction of Crying Dawn Singer", but the title on the cover convinced me to change the entry). The picture is now posted, and I'll credit the submitter as soon as I know how they'd like to be listed.

28 April, 2004

I got a couple more anonymous cover scan submissions, this time for Black Ice and Imperial Entanglements, so their entries have been updated.

I also got a cover scan and information for the Mos Eisley Adventure Set, so its entry and the entry of its author, Floyd Wesel, have been updated.

28 April, 2004

The person who sent me the cover scan for Graveyard of Alderaan has said he doesn't want to be credited, so I have marked the provider as "anonymous".

The other day while at a local game store, I ran across copies of Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #6 and Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #9, so I was able to add them to my collection. Also, because the cover scan I previously had on Issue #6 was pretty bad, I went ahead and scanned my copy and updated the picture.

Lastly, I wanted to mention that SWRPGNetwork has a small news item about this site back currently up (it was posted 15 April, 2004). Thanks again, Moridin!

23 April, 2004

I was sent a cover scan for Graveyard of Alderaan and it is now posted. I'll credit the source as soon as he emails me back with how he'd like his name listed. Also, because looking at it makes it pretty obvious, I credited Lucasfilm Ltd. with the cover art.

While I was updating, I also updated the Links page, removing one duplicate entry and adding a new one (TSR Archive).

- 1010101

22 April, 2004

I went digging on eBay again looking for scans and I turned up a couple slightly better ones:
40020 Scavenger Hunt
40033 The Game Chambers of Questal

- 1010101

18 April, 2004

Someone who'd prefer not to be credited sent me a better cover scan for Tatooine Manhunt, so I updated it.

15 April, 2004

Sorry abut the lack of updates; I've been really busy. I've gotten off my butt, though, and updated the site to reflect the data submitted by Korpil, Grimace, and Dr. Worm (all from the HoloNet Forums). Thanks to all three for their work!

Here's a list of the book entries that have changed, either due to a first time cover scan, an improved cover scan, and/or corrected information:
40108 Classic Campaigns
40128 Classic Adventures, Volume Two
40133 Classic Adventures, Volume Three
40136 Secrets of the Sisar Run
40138 Classic Adventures, Volume Four: The Best of the Adventure Journal
40139 Cracken's Threat Dossier
40150 Stock Ships
40151 No Disintegrations
40152 Live-Action Adventures Gamemaster Toolkit
40154 The Black Sands of Socorro
40158 Gundark's Fantastic Technology: Personal Gear
41001 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #1
41002 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #2
41003 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #3
41004 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #4
41005 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #5
41006 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #6
41007 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #7
41008 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #8
41009 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #9
41010 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #10
41011 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #11
41012 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #12
41013 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #13
41014 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #14
41015 Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issue #15

These changes also lead to the creation of multiple new profile pages:
Chris Hind
Christopher John Parks
Kevin M. MacGregor
Sandra Childress
Chris Trevas
Tim Bobko
Greg Hildebrandt
Tim Hildebrandt

As always, author and artist profile page changes were simply too numerous to list.

26 March, 2004

My copy of Pirates & Privateers arrived today (finally!) and so I was able to update some of the data under its listing. It was this book and the auction I bid on to get it that served as the impetus to create this website, so it was pretty cool to finally get it.

25 March, 2004

I went digging on eBay for some better cover scans, and I found a few. The following books have either had a cover scan added, or had it upgraded:
40033 The Game Chambers of Questal
40056 Heir to the Empire Sourcebook (hardcover)
40060 Twin Stars of Kira
40070 Miniatures Battles Companion
40127 Imperial Entanglements
40154 The Black Sands of Socorro
40158 Gundark's Fantastic Technology: Personal Gear
40203 Assault on Hoth
40206 Battle for Endor
40601 Imperial Double-Cross
40602 Introductory Adventure Game

I've also gone about identifying the names of some of missing cover artists (both those that were unknown to me and those whose work is credited to Lucasfilm Ltd. in a book's credits). While I have suspicions about a number of book covers (I believe Ralph McQuarrie did quite a few more books than I've credited him with), I'm only changing entries when I'm 100% sure (meaning I've had my suspicions verified by an outside source). Here are the books that have changed so far:
40004 Star Wars Campaign Pack
40043 The Star Wars Rules Companion
40049 Planet of the Mists
40052 Mission to Lianna
40059 The Last Command Sourcebook
40067 The Politics of Contraband
40069 Galaxy Guide 7: Mos Eisley
40075 Galaxy Guide 11: Criminal Organizations
40076 The Movie Trilogy Sourcebook
40083 Classic Adventures
40108 Classic Campaigns
40114 The Jedi Academy Sourcebook
40130 Live-Action Adventures

These changes also lead to the creation of three new profile pages (Kazuhiko Sano, Rodger Kastel, and Tim Reamer) and because I was looking around for information about Ralph McQuarrie, I updated his profile, too.

I also just put together a page with a list of the books I own, which can be found here.

24 March, 2004

Korpil of the HoloNet Forums provided me with cover scans and/or additional information about the nine books (and by association, two more), and so their entries have all been updated:
40029 The Far Orbit Project
40057 Planets of the Galaxy, Volume Two
40058 Dark Force Rising Sourcebook (hardcover)
40074 Dark Force Rising Sourcebook (softcover)
40087 Galaxy Guide 12: Aliens - Enemies and Allies
40089 Star Wars Trilogy Sourcebook, Special Edition
40107 Platt's Starport Guide
40109 Alliance Intelligence Reports
40111 Hideouts & Strongholds
40122 Shadows of the Empire Sourcebook (hardcover)
40123 Shadows of the Empire Sourcebook (softcover)

This information also affected numerous author and artist profile pages, and lead to the creation of two more (one for Joe Bavitz and one for Tom Jung).

UPDATE: Korpil has done it again, sending me another seven cover scans and other data this afternoon. Here are the books affected:
40043 The Star Wars Rules Companion
40124 Galaxy Guide 1: A New Hope (second edition)
40130 Live-Action Adventures
40131 The Thrawn Trilogy Sourcebook
40132 Operation: Elrood
40134 Shadows of the Empire Planets Guide
40139 Cracken's Threat Dossier
40165 Classic Adventures, Volume Five

This information also affected a bunch of author and artist profiles, and added a new one: Hugh Fleming.

Be sure to thank Korpil for his hard work (and visit his site, too... it's awesome!).

22 March, 2004

After about a week of constant work to get it all put together, this site is now being made public. Expect some errors, but I'll iron these out as time permits.

Enjoy.

UPDATE: Grimace of the HoloNet Forums sent me a better cover scan of the second edition Star Wars Sourcebook, and so it has been updated.
